I am the Resident Country Director foMrr NDI's Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) programs. I assist select political parties in both entities of BiH in developing policy platforms that respond to citizen concerns and reform priorities. In this capacity, I have overseen and analyzed results of local polling and public opinion research, working with the leadership of NDI's partner parties to integrate the results of this public opinion research into party policies before discussing them with civil society representatives in public forums and town hall meetings.
Prior to my time in Bosnia, I was based in NDI’s Kosovo office, where I worked primarily with Kosovo Serb political parties, including senior government and political party officials, but also with media, foreign embassies, international organizations, aid agencies and research institutions to support Kosovo Serbs’ political and civil society initiatives. My service at NDI includes work with political party and civic leaders throughout the Balkans, including Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania, as well as in Jordan and Iraq. From 1999 to 2007, I was the regional expert for campaign planning and political party organizing with NDI in Serbia.
Before joining the Institute, I worked for the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, first as CEO and later as Advisor of the President. Earlier, I practiced law in Serbia as the legal representative of trade unions, NGOs and Serbian opposition political parties. I was also a member of Yugoslavia’s Federal Electoral Commission and the Republic of Serbia’s Central Election Commission for the 2000 elections. I served as the regional campaign manager for the Democratic Opposition of Serbia in 2000, after which the Serbian opposition overthrew Milosevic’s regime.
I hold a master’s degree from the University of Belgrade.
I am a member of the EAPC - European Association of Political Consultants.
