An update from Conference Co-Chairs Faye Diamond and Joannie Braden
As the plans for the Denver IAPC conference take shape, we want to introduce you to our on-going publication of The Daily Spin. Some of you will remember The Daily Spin from the Barcelona and Paris IAPC conferences.
This year, we will be sending you regular updates about the Denver conference and the program we’re planning. We are very excited to show you our city and tell you about the program and social events for the conference.
For now, here are some highlights:
The Program Chairs for this year’s conference are Feyi Akindoyeni, from Australia, Marko Rakar, from Croatia, and Sal Russo, from the United States. We have had an initial planning meeting to outline the program and will be conferring again soon as we continue to reach out to potential speakers.
Thursday, November 10th
The Colorado Governor’s Mansion will be the site of our cocktail reception the second evening of our conference. This Georgian Revival mansion has been home to many modern Colorado governors and retains its beautiful ionic columns and semicircular sunroom overlooking Governor’s Park.
Sunday, November 13th
The Gala Dinner is the signature social event of our annual conference and offers the best visibility and networking opportunity for your organization. Enjoy the chance to mix-and-mingle with our special guests and attendees at the Pinnacle Club overlooking Denver and the Front Range foothills.
